Here we go!

Hello World! (or just a few friends that will ever see this :))  So I joined the blogging world.  I've always wanted to do this but always thought "who would want to read my thoughts?"  This Africa trip gave me a good reason to start. 

So I just wanted to say hi and to make sure to subscribe to me.  I'll be blogging until I leave for the trip and while I'm there.
