My Favorite Non-Profits

So through the years, I've come across some of my favorite non-profits. I am very cautious about who I speak out for because unfortunately not everyone is honest.  But here are the ones that I follow besides Refuge : Heart4Uganda  -  This is my friends Vicki and Klint's ministry that they are currently living out in Jinja, Uganda. Their mission is to teach and empower the people of Uganda. Klint teaches Farming God's way to the villagers and ministers to the men of the villages, among other things.  This two little listings include soooo much more than meerly teaching farming and ministering.  Check out their website to see what the principles of farming God's way does for the local community.  Farming by this methods yields a HUGE crop.  Also, when you visit Uganda, you see hundreds if not thousands of men on the streets just hanging out. You also see many ministries for women, but none for men.  Klint wants to change this.  He pours ...

Wrap up

Hey y'all! I've been gone for a year and hopefully can start this thing up again. I went to Africa this past Dec-Jan and had a great time.  Learned so much for Refuge and met some amazing people. I went up a week earlier with my friends Vera and Mike and we spent time with some missionary friends who I love so much. We became so close to Vicki and her family and I know it's a God relationship.  Vicki and I met on Instagram and they have been such a blessing to my life.   And I got engaged! In Africa! And I got married And we painted our house and I moved in (after the wedding of course). Which lets just say choosing paint colors for an entire home is not so easy for an indecisive person. So all in all it's been a quiet year LOL NOT! So that about wraps up my year.  I'm sure I'll post a few blogs about what's been going on but for now, just an update. Love y'all to Uganda and Back!
